Bec and Joel’s wedding at Farm Dog Brewing, McGlashans Estate was one of those days where everything just came together. With gorgeous weather, a relaxed atmosphere, and so much thought put into every detail, it felt like the perfect setting to celebrate with their closest people.

From the moment the day began, there was a real sense of excitement and ease. Bec and Joel had clearly put a lot of care into planning their wedding, and it showed, from the styling through to how the day flowed so naturally from one moment to the next.

Set among the vines at McGlashans Estate, Farm Dog Brewing created the perfect backdrop for a celebration that was fun, relaxed, and full of energy. Everyone was genuinely happy to be there, enjoying the sunshine, great food, and the chance to celebrate together.

As the day rolled into the evening, the atmosphere only lifted, a dance floor full of laughter, good music, and people soaking up every moment. A seriously fun, thoughtful wedding and such a pleasure to be a part of.

Tell me about your The Beginning!

We matched on Hinge. Very soon into the conversation we realised we went to the same gym and Joel said he recognised Bec from the gym. The next day Joel said hi to Bec at the gym, and over the next few days started to come earlier and earlier to make sure we were working out at the same time. For our first date we went to KBBQ. We sat next to each other for dinner and in the middle Joel leant over and kissed Bec which caught her off guard and was very out of character for him. We laughed a lot on the way back to the car and had a really nice evening.

When and where did you get engaged?

Joel was waiting too long so after a lovely day out, Bec popped the question while sitting and sipping gin and tonics on the decking. We were engaged in September 2024, almost a year after our first date.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

We want our theme to be casual, fun, laid back and little bit pretty. A lot of the style choices are based on elements of Bec’s dress, so can’t go into too many details as we are writing this together!

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Seeing each other for the first time on the day, and starting a lovely long journey together.
