Tell me about your The Beginning!

We Met in November 2013 at Iain Sharps 21st Birthday party. I was waiting at the bar when Iain introduced us, I shook his hand and he got me a dirty Granny, we chatted for a while and then honestly I can’t remember too much from the rest of that night… there was a kiss exchanged at some point and I did wake up the next morning to an anonymous message on my phone. (Thank you Demelza for securing the digits). The year that followed was hell, long drives to uni and back together, late nights outside the cinema center chatting to the early hours, staying up late texting every night. We learned EVERYTHING about each other. We met other people, we tried to make other relationships work because our friendship to each other was so important. Other relationships fell apart, then finally one night everything fell into place. It was raining, I was sad and alone, he was in a suit, he ran to see me and we met in the middle of the road, a kiss was exchanged, and we never looked back.

When and where did you get engaged?

We got engaged at a work event in Sydney on our 8 year anniversary, Matthew surprised me with a string quartet and photographer

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

Fairly classic / black tie./ simple

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Probably seeing Matt’s face but also having all of our favourite people in one place.
