Tell me about your The Beginning!
We met in 2017 in Ballarat where Stacey lived with Mitch’s best friend and one night when Stacey got home Mitch was just sitting on the couch in the lounge. From there, Mitch kept coming back to visit his friend James even though he hadn’t visited James in almost a year before his first encounter with Stacey. Our first date was a double date with James and his partner at the time to ten pin bowling and go karts before dinner at the pub led to a night out on the town. We then began the regular travel between Ballarat and Bendigo to continue seeing each other. A year later Stacey moved home to Geelong and the travel became longer but the relationship stayed strong before Mitch moved to Geelong in April 2021.

When and where did you get engaged?
We got engaged in July 2022 in the Tuscan Hills of Italy on a spur of the minute holiday we booked only 2 weeks in advance. Mitch knew this would be the perfect opportunity to propose so he quickly organised a ring. The trip through security at the airport and hoping Stacey didn’t find the ring in Mitch’s bag was the most stressful time for Mitch.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
Laid back rustic wedding theme with fresh florals.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Looking forward to seeing Mitch’s reaction when Stacey walks down the aisle.
However a close second is grabbing a drink and partying with our favourite people.

Top Tips!
Everyone says start planning and buying early which I totally agree with but also don’t plan a wedding and get married while you are also trying to build a house and finish your graduate year all in one.
